V2 Demo
Ismael —

After a very, very long time working on the new version of Monstershuffler, I finally have something substantial that you can try:
The demo brings together two of the biggest parts of V2: the Monster Editor and the new Story Editor.
You can edit the monster's stat block, change its CR, modify its actions, and play with the new tools I've been building for creating monsters. You can also jump into the Story Editor and edit the backstory, add content, and experiment with the formatting.
One big part of the Monster Editor is still missing from the demo: content! As the library grows, you'll be able to build monsters extremely quickly by reusing and combining existing content like species, classes, templates, etc., and I plan to add plenty of it myself.
This is the first time where I feel like enough of V2 has come together to properly show what I've been working toward over the last few years.
It's still an alpha. There are bugs, unfinished parts, and plenty of things that will change.
So please, mess with it. Break things. I'm particularly interested in anything that feels confusing, cumbersome, unnecessary, or doesn't work the way you'd expect.
There are still two major pieces I need to finish before V2 can start replacing the current Monstershuffler: importing the 2024 SRD monsters and completing the new system for publishing and sharing community-created monsters.
We're getting there.
